From February 10, 2012 to February 9, 2013 I took a photo a day on my iPod and posted them here without editing them. It was interesting experimenting with the short focal point. The iPad takes good close ups and surprisingly good action shots.
I started this project when I was visiting Asia and I was already taking lots of photos. Once I got home it took some time to get in the habit of taking my iPad with me so that I could take these photos. Now I always have my iPad with me, even if I also have a laptop. I still have to remind myself to take a photo some days, other days I take so many photos it is hard to pick one. As the photos collect on this page it is wonderful to see themes evolve and the seasons change. Taking these photos really helps me notice details I might otherwise miss, and been a great way to explore my new neighbourhood and city (I moved to Edmonton in August 2011.)
